Side channel blowers have a very wide range of applications. When used as a compressor, they produce clean, pulsation-free compressed air.
The principle of operation of side-channel blowers is very simple: the rotor blades rotate inside a toroidal stator channel. As a result of the centrifugal force and rotation of the rotor, the air is set in motion in a spiral trajectory, accelerated and directed to the outlet.
The blower components cooperate with each other in a non-contact manner, so the device does not require typical periodic technical inspections. Since the sucked air also serves as a cooling medium, the blower can be used in continuous operation provided that a certain pressure range is maintained. For this purpose, it is necessary to install vacuum and pressure valves to avoid engine damage.
